Pre-assembled Goldring E3 MM pickup

Goldring’s E3 pickup is considered one of the best in its price range – something that is confirmed by six consecutive awards such as “Best Buy” from What Hi-Fi?. Offering both easy setup and uncompromised audio performance, it is pre-assembled and adjusted directly on the GR3 tonearm.

It features a stiff and lightweight aluminum needle arm that provides precise tracking, more detail, and lower distortion. A dual magnet generator system ensures true fidelity, better separation between channels, and a more musical soundstage. Designed and developed in the UK with careful adjustments during production to ensure consistent performance over a long period of time.

Built-in RIAA stage

Not all amplifiers or active speakers have the correct gain and EQ to handle the signal from a turntable. To simplify this, the GR3 has a built-in phono preamp. This means you can connect this turntable directly to any amplifier or active speaker you want – without the need for extra phono stages or external boxes. Combine it easily with the Q Acoustics M20 or M40, for a powerful and easy-to-use vinyl system.

Plate in phenolic resin

The GR3’s impressive speed stability is achieved thanks to a phenolic resin platter with improved inertial effect. By distributing most of the mass towards the outer edge, the inertia of motion is increased, which reduces velocity variations. The result is low wow & flutter, which in turn guarantees high sound reproduction with great musical fidelity.
